Legal documentation
Terms of Service
Effective date: 15 October 2026
1. Provider and scope
These Terms govern Ciru.io services provided by Lifes Campus LLC, Wyoming, United States, with a business mailing address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Ste 1200, Sheridan, WY, United States (“Ciru”). They cover organisational customers and authorised users of the platform. Free Ciru-run peer-community participation is addressed in section 12.
The person accepting these Terms for an organisation represents that they have authority to bind it. Paid access is offered to organisations, not individual consumers. Participants and administrators must be at least 18.
Acceptance must occur through an affirmative acceptance process or an agreed order incorporating these Terms; merely visiting a website is not to be treated by the implementation as an executed paid service agreement.
2. Quotes and orders
A quote or order identifies price in USD, participant allowance or credits, access duration, included features, support, billing schedule, and any recurring charges. A quote request does not create an account, activate access, or oblige either party to purchase or supply a service.
The customer must agree the scope and charges before payment or activation.
3. Service and customer setup
Ciru provides a dashboard and workflow to help organisations facilitate relevant introductions within their own invited networks. The service does not supply external buyers, investors, sponsors, mentors, leads or participants.
After agreed payment, Ciru sends account-creation instructions by email. The customer creates its account, configures its community and invites participants. The customer is responsible for its setup, permissions, participant recruitment and use of the service. Managed setup or other services are included only if expressly agreed.
Access to the service does not guarantee that a suitable counterpart exists or that participants will accept or act on an introduction.
4. Accounts, allowances and credits
Customers must provide accurate account information, authorise appropriate administrators, protect credentials, and notify Ciru of suspected unauthorised access. Administrators must not share credentials or attempt to access another organisation's workspace.
When the purchased participant allowance is reached, the customer cannot add additional participants until it purchases the required additional credits or allowance.
5. Fees, payments and subscriptions
Fees are charged through Stripe in USD according to the agreed order. One-time and recurring arrangements are available depending on the order.
Recurring charges require agreement to the amount or calculation method, billing frequency, commencement and renewal conditions. Do not create a subscription solely because a customer previously made a one-time purchase.
Customers may cancel future recurring billing by emailing ciru@ciru.io. Ciru's stated cancellation policy is to stop future recurring charges upon receipt of the cancellation request.
Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable, including prepaid fees, partial billing periods and unused credits. Cancellation does not reverse a completed payment or waive amounts already due for services purchased before cancellation. This policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or prevent correction of an incorrect or duplicate charge.
Following cancellation, access continues until the end of the period already paid for, subject to the agreed scope and these Terms. Cancellation of recurring billing does not itself delete the account or its data. One-time event access continues until the expiry specified in the order. Cancellation does not extend credit validity or service duration beyond the purchased scope.
Customer support is provided by email at ciru@ciru.io. No support hours, response-time commitment, telephone support or service-level agreement is included unless expressly agreed in the order.
6. Participant information and permissions
The customer is responsible for having authority and an appropriate legal basis to upload participant information, providing necessary notices, and issuing lawful processing instructions. The customer must not upload information obtained without appropriate permission or use the service for unlawful unsolicited communications.
The customer retains its rights in data it supplies. It grants Ciru the limited rights needed to process that data to deliver the agreed service. Personal-data responsibilities must be documented in an appropriate Data Processing Agreement where required. These Terms and the public Privacy Notice are not a substitute for that agreement.
7. Introductions, AI and participant choices
Participants receive a brief about a proposed match and may accept or decline. An introduction is made only when both agree. Participants may report or block another participant and opt out of future participation.
AI supports matching and the website assistant. Suggestions can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Customers and participants remain responsible for assessing fit and deciding whether to connect or transact. Website-assistant responses do not amend a quote or create a guarantee.
Neither a relevant match nor a completed introduction guarantees a meeting, deal, investment, donation, membership renewal or rebooking. Business Case Builder results are assumption-based scenarios, not forecasts, commitments or financial advice.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Ciru to harass, discriminate unlawfully, impersonate others, distribute spam, share unlawful material, collect sensitive information without appropriate authority, compromise security, scrape or export information without permission, bypass participant choices, or access other workspaces.
Customers must ensure that their administrators and authorised users comply with these requirements. Participants must respect the scope of agreed introductions; accepting an introduction is not blanket permission for unrelated campaigns.
9. Confidentiality and intellectual property
Each party must protect the other's nonpublic information received in connection with the service, use it only for the agreed relationship, and limit disclosure to people and providers who need it and are subject to appropriate duties. Exceptions apply to information already lawfully known, public without breach, independently developed, lawfully received, or required to be disclosed by law.
Ciru retains rights in its platform, software and documentation. The customer receives a limited right to use the service for the agreed period and scope. Purchasing access does not transfer platform ownership. Ciru receives no general ownership of participant profiles or confidential customer information.
10. Suspension, termination and exit
Ciru may suspend access for nonpayment, misuse, material breach or a credible security threat, proportionate to the issue.
On expiry or termination, access and data handling follow the agreed order and approved retention policy.
12. Free Ciru peer communities
Ciru currently operates free communities for professional association leaders, alumni relations leaders and event professionals. Eligibility is limited to mid- to senior-level professionals in the relevant field; vendors, suppliers and sales participation are excluded under the community criteria.
Eligible members join through the short onboarding form. Introductions are offered when a relevant counterpart is available, with agreement from both people. There is no guaranteed match or fixed introduction frequency. Members may opt out at any time by contacting ciru@ciru.io or using the available opt-out mechanism.
Peer membership does not require purchase of Ciru and does not enrol participants in product marketing. Community information is not transferred to other communities or customer workspaces for matching. The acceptable-use and privacy provisions relevant to participation apply. Paid-order obligations do not apply merely because someone joins a free community.
13. Updates and contact
Changes to an existing paid commitment must follow the applicable agreement and law. Posting new Terms alone does not automatically change agreed prices or retroactively authorise new uses of customer data.
